Printing & Binding Tips

Printing

The PDF file is 5.38 megabytes, so it may take a while for your system to process it and begin printing. One man said it took his ten minutes to start printing, but after it started, it printed the whole book perfectly. So, you may need to exercise patience.

Obviously, the book looks a lot better in color than in black and white, and some things are color-coded, so we recommend printing it on a color printer, if possible. However, we have tried it on a black and white laser printer, and it works fine. You don't get the full effect of the color-coding, but everything is still legible.

We recommend a 24 lb. paper, especially when printing in color. But, we have tested it with cheap copy paper, and it is acceptable.

Binding

After printing your Extremely Easy Method Book, be sure all the pages printed correctly and are in order, and take them to your favorite copy or office supply store to be bound. Some of the most common choices of bindings are:

  • Wire Binding

  • Plastic Spiral Coil Binding

  • Plastic Comb Binding

This is a picture of a book done with a wire binding.

Be sure to specify to the attendant at the copy store that you want your book bound on the left side, as shown here.

We like to use a transparent cover on the front, and a solid-color plastic on the back, the same color as the binding.
